This TVET Micro Credential course is designed to prepare students to become competent and industry-ready electronic product development personnel, equipped with the practical skills required to design, develop, and implement microcontroller-based systems and electronic applications. The program focuses on hands-on training, ensuring students can confidently create, test, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic circuits and embedded systems used in modern industrial, commercial, and consumer applications. Students will gain strong technical knowledge in electronic product design, microcontroller systems, circuit development, embedded programming concepts, electronic component selection, schematic interpretation, testing procedures, troubleshooting techniques, and product prototyping. Through practical laboratory activities and real-world project simulations, students learn how to design electronic systems, integrate hardware components, analyze circuit performance, and develop reliable microcontroller-based solutions. Unlike theory-based programs, this TVET Micro Credential emphasizes learning by doing. Students will work with industry-standard equipment and tools such as soldering stations, oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, PLC training systems, IC testers, and electronic design workstations. By the end of the course, students will be capable of developing functional electronic prototypes, performing testing and validation activities, troubleshooting hardware issues, and supporting the development of innovative electronic products. Graduates of this course are well prepared for careers as Electronics Technicians, Embedded Systems Technicians, Product Development Assistants, Electronic Design Assistants, Automation Support Technicians, or Technical Support Personnel in the electronics and manufacturing industries.
