This course exposes trainees to Computer Systems. Trainers will study the following course syllabus: 1.Server Configuration -Understanding server roles and functions. -Installation and configuration of operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux). -Virtualization and cloud-based server setups. -Performance monitoring and troubleshooting. 2.Computer Network Installation Management -Designing and planning network architecture (LAN/WAN). -Installation and configuration of network devices (routers, switches, access points). -Network topology and connectivity testing. -Troubleshooting network-related issues. 3.Computer System Security Control -Fundamentals of cybersecurity. -Implementing firewalls, antivirus, and intrusion detection systems. -Data encryption and secure access protocols. -Responding to and mitigating cyber threats. 4.Computer System Maintenance Management -Routine hardware maintenance and upgrades. -System diagnostics and fault resolution. -Managing backups and disaster recovery strategies. -Ensuring compatibility between hardware and software. 5.Computer System and Network Procurement -Assessing hardware and software requirements. -Vendor evaluation and procurement strategies. -Cost analysis and contract management. -Deployment of procured systems and tools. 6.Network Cabling Management -Principles of structured cabling. -Installation of copper and fiber-optic cabling. -Testing and certifying cabling systems. -Maintaining and troubleshooting physical network infrastructure.
