Diploma in Sound and Lighting Technology programme is designed to produce graduates that have knowledge and skills in the field of electrical technology discipline, with specialization in the sound and lighting technology which includes electrical and electronic fundamental, electrical installation, computer aided design while emphasizing the area of specialization. The specialization courses include Sound and Lighting Fundamental, Loudspeaker and Audio Measurement, Audio and Lighting System, Lighting Design and Audio Balancing. During the work base learning (WBL), the student will get their extra knowledge in sound and lighting system such as Digital Sound for Live Music, Live Sound System Setup, Audio Processing Technique for Live Sound, Advanced Lighting System, Studio and Outdoor Lighting and Entertainment Lighting. As the programme emphasizes self-initiated learning and hands-on competencies, graduates of this program will acquire knowledge and skills which are highly relevant to the industry.
