Bachelor of Architectural Technology with Honours

The Bachelor of Architectural Technology promises to produce holistic, balanced and entrepreneurial graduates through its programme’s design and delivery. The programme will provide graduates with architectural technology knowledge with additional advanced skills in Building Information Modelling (BIM) to work in the construction industry or pursue further studies in a related field. The programme is focused on the technical-design discipline, and the courses are studio-based with project-oriented learning and work-based learning approaches. In addition to the discipline core courses, elective courses are offered for the students to explore new interest areas as well as enhance their competencies in the discipline core. To ensure that students possess the interpersonal and communication skills needed to thrive in the industry, teamwork and leadership roles, group discussions, seminars and presentations are embedded in the course delivery and assessments.

The knowledge and skills that the students acquire from the Bachelor of Architectural Technology programme will enable them to participate in careers as: - Assistant Architect - Site Supervisor - Inspector of Work - BIM Coordinator - BIM Manager - Entrepreneur in Creative Industry - 3D Maker and Illustrator
